There is a winning bid on the Van Dusen mansion complex near downtown Minneapolis, which was recently offered for sale on eBay. Christine Viken, the current owner, said the winning bid of $3,550,100 came from the owner of a Twin Cities-based finance and real estate company. The bid is not legally binding, so Viken still has to negotiate the sale. She said she didn't want to identify the bidder until the sale closes. The property, which includes a painstakingly restored 1892 mansion, a conference center and a carriage house, drew 32 bids during its month on eBay.
